Jessica’s professional foundation began in the beauty industry, where she built her career from small-town salons to becoming a master lash artist, beauty educator, and founder of Color Pins Curls. Through years of client service, brand education, and content creation, she developed a clear understanding of how trust is built: through consistency, communication, and expertise people can actually understand.
That ability to translate complex information into clear, credible messaging now shapes her work in communications, partnerships, and public relations. As Chief of Staff at Kairos Labs, Jessica supports strategic messaging, public relations, relationship management, and cross-functional alignment in Michigan’s regulated cannabis testing space, where education, compliance, and credibility matter.
Jessica is also deeply involved in nonprofit leadership through PS Society, a women-led Michigan nonprofit dedicated to combating loneliness through intentional community, personal and professional growth, and service. As a Director and Vice President, she supports programming, communications, partnerships, event promotion, donor engagement, and fundraising strategy.
